Since his days as a toddler, armed with everything from encyclopedias to Nikki Giovanni, his dedication to knowledge and imagination continues to grow to this very day. Easter recounts his time at Lucille Brown Middle School as where his range grew from reading to writing, often making short stories and unfinished novelas. Ultimately, this led him to music, going on to graduate from the Berklee College of Music, deeply inspired while reading the autobiography of Miles Davis. While a seasoned jazz musician, he never strayed from literature and the importance of passing down that passion to younger generations.
